Our facility is only minutes from I85 and I485.
Southbound I-85 (from Charlotte/Douglas International Airport)
- Take the Billy Graham Parkway North to I-85
- Take I-85 South (towards Gastonia)
- Exit on to Sam Wilson Road, exit 29 (second exit from Billy Graham)
- Turn right on to Sam Wilson Road from exit ramp
- Turn left on to Performance Road (next left; approx. 300 ft. from I-85)
- Commander Instruments and Avionics and American DORNIER are approximately 3/4 mile on the left (just after Reynolds & Reynolds). Look for the "Dornier" sign.
Northbound I-85 (from South Carolina)
- Go past all Gastonia exits
- Go past McAdenville / Lowell exit
- Go past Belmont / Mt. Holly exits
- Highway will become a 4 lane after exit 271 (Mt. Holly)
- Cross Catawba River via Cameron Morris Bridge
- Take Sam Wilson Road, exit 29 (next exit past weigh station)
- Take a left on to Sam Wilson Road from ramp (back across I-85)
- Turn left on to Performance Road (next left; approx. 400 ft. from I-85)
- Commander Instruments and Avionics and American DORNIER are approximately 3/4 mile on the left (just after Reynolds & Reynolds). Look for the "Dornier" sign.
Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 9am until 5pm.
